My local bar. Come here all the time. Great prices compared to other bars and the staff are great. Food's always good (excellent wings and steak sandwhiches) and they have an excellent patio in the summer. Highly recommended.
My favorite spot in Toronto. The food is delicious, the service is quick and polite. It's nice to sit at the patio or go downstairs for a pool table game. The jukebox plays good tunes but can always change the song. It's spacious that your around people but still able to have a private conversation. I recommend the burger it hits the spot. They also make a very good veggie wrap. I have been mixing it up with the daily specials.

I haven’t yet experienced Axis’s nightlife, but word on the street is that it’s the perfect place to kick off—or wind down—your evening. Their beer selection is solid, ranging from craft brews to the classics, and any bar that serves Pabst Blue Ribbon gets a nod of approval from me. The food? Delicious and thoughtfully prepared, with something on the menu for everyone. So, if you find yourself in the Junction, or are curious to explore, make Axis Cafe your first stop. You won’t be disappointed.
First time coming, we had a very nice server, the food was really good, although the fries were overpriced. Even though it’s more of a bar it even has a kid’s menu. One of my only complaints, which isn’t that important, is that when you sit at the end of the left part of the outside area, there is a fence separating the other side which people smoke behind there and you can smell it really strong through the fence. My food recommendation is the nachos, they were amazing!

I chose axis as my local pub when I moved here a few years ago. I can always rely on running into the wonderful people who are regular customers here. I quickly became friends with every server here, and it is truly a pleasure chatting with any one of them to lift my spirits after a hard day of work!
